Client Work?

A few readers have asked, 'What is your day job?'

For a long while, most of my writing was for sites and magazines. This was easy to see what I had done as it included a byline.

Right now, my main work is ad copy. It is work done for businesses. Currently, I write blogs, articles, newsletters, and social media posts for various companies that include lawn care, law firms, insurance companies, and mortgage brokers.

Yes. Riveitn stuff.

I enjoy the challenge of writing about these subjects while trying to attract readers and grow customers. It is a different type of creative challenge compared to writing a novel or movie review, but it still demands creativity and outside-the-box thinking.

This work has me sign a non-disclosure agreement, so I can't go into great detail. I may share a bit of how this business works in the future. For now, I have to write this stuff.
