Bah. . . Summer!

The world-changing master plan was to get the site and podcast rolling this summer and enter into the fall with several movie reviews and various pop culture pieces posted along with weekly podcasts uploaded.

This did not happen for various reasons.

My instinct is to then declare this summer a failure because that is what I'm apt to do when my ambitions topple over the cliff.

No movie reviews.

No podcasts.

Definitely no fiction.

Audience growth can't happen if there isn't anything substantial to enjoy.

Yet. . .

I performed in my biggest production yet with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and based on audience response I was a hit.

While my time management skills and self-confidence need work, I have had more consistent client work since the pandemic hit. This is a win. I am actually making a living again as a writer. A massive victory, and probably the most important achievement career-wise in years.

I spent valuable time with my family. and created key memories.

I'm in the best place possible for a killer fall and getting the site and other creative projects moving forward.

September 1st is still set for the soft relaunch of Beyond the Balcony.
