The Breakdown of the Summer Box Office & a Major Announcement

The latest episode is yet again a week late, and also not what was promoted in our previous episode. But it is an episode -- full on over an hour episode. This is impressive considering it is just me, or depending on how much you want to hear my voice maybe a little unfortunate?

As I've announced on the site, Scott is taking a leave of absence, which will be for an undetermined amount of time. I discuss my future plans and what to expect for the next little while. I also pay a short tribute to my dear friend and wish him the very best.

I also put on an actual show. I have decided to cancel the Summer Box Office Challenge this season, for obvious reasons. Instead, I look at the current state of the summer box office and analyze why some movies were hits and others were misses. If you like this type of exploration, then this is the episode for you.

As always, I really appreciate you listening to this episode, and if you loved it, please consider sharing us on social media, so other movie fans can find us. As well, you can help us with the algorithms by rating and subscribing to us on SpreakerSpotify, iHeartApple PodcastGoogle PodcastsCastBoxAmazon Music, or wherever you love to listen to your podcasts. Another way to help is considering listening to the show through the Spreaker App.
