Do You Want to Host a Podcast?

 

The Movie Breakdown has been a major part of my life since 2013, and one of the greatest pleasures has been talking movies with my good friend Scott Martin. I am sad to announce that Scott has come to the tough decision to take an extended absence from podcasting for an undetermined amount of time.

Scott is more than a co-host, but a best friend and he was a long-time roommate and my Best Man at my wedding. I wish him the very best.

But I still want to keep the podcast going to grow its audience and deliver the best possible shows for our loyal and amazing listeners. The plan is to continue to have episodes at least once a week (with potential for bonus episodes). 

We have some episodes stored away in the vault that can be posted. For now, I'll also do solo episodes where I'll review the movies on my own. This also makes it much easier to do the long-promised expansion of the podcast onto YouTube, since logistically one person on video avoids some of the visual issues.  

But. . . I am also looking for a potential interim host or maybe multiple guest hosts to fill the giant shoes of Scott. If you've ever wanted to be part of a podcast or love talking movies, then this could be a great opportunity.
