Breakdown Flashback: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

 

Due to numerous factors, we couldn't record a new episode of The Movie Breakdown again this week. Instead, we dipped into the vault to pull out an episode all the way back from 2015. I know there are many people that have not been ecstatic about how Disney has handled Star Wars, but there was a whole lot more love back in 2015. I will stand by the fact that I have mostly been happy with what has been release as Star Wars under the Disney owned Lucasfilm. I still stand by The Force Awakens as one of my favourite movies over the last decade.

Check out our very spoilery deep-dive into the movie along with some predictions about the future that largely turned out to be wrong. It is a great hour-plus to revel in some Star Wars love.
