A Girl and Her Dog: Flashback Edition

 

Danika has had a pet her entire life. There was a short stint where she didn't have a dog, but during that time she made do with a toy version that she also called Summit. It was cute and I think a young child's way of dealing with the loss of something they loved. She has always had a great relationship with the dogs, and her first big furry friend was Summit. I love this picture, because it depicts their friendship wonderfully.
