More Beautiful with Every Passing Year

 

My incredible wife, Emily, becomes a year older, and also a year smarter and more beautiful today. And more tired, but we have two young kids and two hyperactive dogs, so that is just expected. This is a year where we ended up spending way more time in the same space than usual thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. I am happy to announce that we still love each other, and the time together did not devolve to daily battle royals to the death.

That isn't to say it has been all roses. But the time together has shown me things that I can work on to make our relationship better and stronger. It has also shown me that it is a relationship that it worth making better and stronger. It has shown me how thankful and blessed I am that Emily is my wife and the mother of my children.

Today, I do what I do every year on this blog on this date. I wish happy birthday to the love of my life.
